PowiDian in collaboration with Bouygues Energies & Services

PowiDian is pleased to have supplied and commissionned the whole “hydrogen chain” part of the first autonomous station for THE DIRECTION OF AIR NAVIGATION SERVICES, in collaboration with Bouygues Energies & Services.

The energy from the local photovoltaic field is powering an electrolyser, the hydrogen produced is stored in a local tank under pressure, and a fuell cell delivers electricity power when needed. The energy storage combines both hydrogen and lithium batteries. The complete station is managed locally by a master controller supplied by Powidian with its advanced algorithms.

This innovative project, named SEPHER, is used to power air traffic control radio systems in remote sites.
