New hydrogen storage system for SAGES® stations

PowiDian Energy will now offer a new hydrogen storage system, among other solutions already available, that can be integrated into its SAGES® stations for green hydrogen producers as well as industrial and heavy-duty mobility users.

This system, designed by Vallourec, consists of buried steel tubes connected vertically to each other and can store up to 100 tons of gaseous hydrogen under maximum safety conditions. This innovative large-scale underground vertical storage system for compressed gaseous hydrogen thus significantly reduces the land footprint.
