It all began in 2010, at the heart of the R&D department of Airbus Defence and Space where Jean-Marie Bourgeais was in charge of technical innovations regarding energetic infrastructures. In need of an autonomous energy station to supply secure radio communication networks, he launched an extensive market study. The conclusion was clear: at the time, no reliable and reasonably priced solution existed to meet Airbus’ needs. As a result, Jean-Marie Bourgeais was asked to lead a project dedicated to the development of a sustainable, reliable, and affordable power station. In 2013, as EADS began restructuring, a start-up called PowiDian was created. What followed is our story.
PowiDian Energy brings together a diversity of skills and personalities: unity and collaboration are its core strengths. Every project is a team affair, and each customer soon becomes part of the team. When answering vital needs such as power supply, everybody wants the same thing: efficient, reliable, and sustainable solutions.
